Expand Your Expertise with Our Comprehensive Training Programs
In addition to our Administrator Certification course, designed for individuals desiring to become Residential Care / Assisted Living Administrators, we offer a variety of NAB-approved classes throughout the year. These classes help current administrators meet their annual Continuing Education Unit (CEU) requirements.
Oklahoma-licensed RC/AL Administrators must obtain 16 CEUs annually, while Nursing Home Administrators are required to complete 24 CEUs each year. Our programs are tailored to ensure you meet these requirements and continue to excel in your professional roles.

RC/AL Scholarship is offered to assist qualified persons who wish to complete the OKSLA RCAL Assisted Living Administrator Training Course and become an administrator in assisted living.
About Senior Living
Senior Living was founded on a resident centered philosophy to enable choice, preserve dignity, encourage independence, and promote quality of life.
Assisted Living
A home or establishment that may provide assistance with personal care, medications, ambulation, nursing supervision and intermittent or unscheduled nursing care. They cannot provide 24-hour skilled nursing care.

Medicaid Option through DHS (Advantage Waiver)
Residential Care
Provide residential accommodations, food service, and supportive assistance. May also provide assistance with meals, dressing, bathing, other personal needs, and medication administration. Cannot provide medical care such as skilled nursing.

This is unique to Oklahoma. In other states residential care is the same as assisted living.
A typical residential care resident is younger than other long term care options and only requires assistant with medication administration
NO Options for Medicare/Medicaid
Independent Senior Living / Care Homes
Apartments, cottages, and single-family homes for seniors 55 & over who do not require assistance with daily activities or 24/7 skilled nursing but may benefit from convenient services, senior-friendly surroundings, and increased social opportunities.
NOT Licensed by Oklahoma State Department of Health
No OSDH oversight required since they are not licensed
May have “High Acuity” that is receiving Home Health and or Hospice services
